The SA40E comes with two interchangeable drums—a scarifying drum and a bladed aerator—which can be easily swapped based on the task at hand. The scarifying drum features sharp tines that rotate at high speed to cut into the turf in a vertical manner, efficiently removing thatch, moss, and other undesired debris from your lawn.
